CITY OF HIGH SHOALS PUBLIC NOTICE OF HEARING MINIMUM HOUSING / UNSAFE STRUCTURE TO ALL OWNERS, HEIRS, OCCUPANTS, LIENHOLDERS, AND OTHER PARTIES OF INTEREST: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of High Shoals has determined that the structure located at: 229 North Lincoln Street High Shoals, NC 28077 Parcel ID Number: 197428 is in a dilapidated, unsafe, and hazardous condition following extensive fire damage and deterioration and may be in violation of the City of High Shoals Minimum Housing Code and Public Nuisance Ordinances. A hearing will be held before the Housing Code Official of the City of High Shoals on: Tuesday, June 16, 2026 6:30 PM High Shoals City Hall 101 Thompkins Street High Shoals, NC 28077 The purpose of the hearing is to determine whether the structure is unsafe, unfit for human habitation, and constitutes a nuisance or hazard to public health, safety, and welfare. Any owner, heir, occupant, lienholder, or other interested party may appear at the hearing and present evidence concerning this matter. Failure to appear will not prevent the City from proceeding with enforcement action, including orders to repair, secure, vacate, demolish, remove, or otherwise abate the structure and nuisance conditions.
