CITY OF NORWICH NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE following Proposed Amendment was introduced at the meeting of the Norwich Personnel and Pension Board ("Board") on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, tabled to the Tuesday, June 16, 2026 meeting and scheduled for a public hearing on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 5:00 pm during the Board meeting in the Human Resources Department, Norwich City Hall, 100 Broadway, Room 213, Norwich, CT. AN AMENDMENT TO THE NORWICH MERIT SYSTEM RULES TO ENSURE THAT SAID RULES ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY CHARTER Purpose: To add to the list of job positions in the Merit System Rules that are unclassified the job position of Executive Secretary to the Chief Executive Officer. Copies of said Proposed Amendment are on file and open to public inspection from 8:30 am-4:30 pm at the Human Resources Department, 100 Broadway, Room 213, Norwich, CT.
