CITY OF TUSCALOOSA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Project Name: Jerry Belk Center Addition File Number: OCA-26-0234 CFG Project Number: BELK-25-003 Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on April 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read. Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on April 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Parking and Entry to City Hall: Free visitor parking is provided in the Intermodal Facility (parking deck) at 2230 7th Street. Access City Hall through the 4th-floor skywalk entrance to Security. Project Scope: An Addition to the existing Jerry Belk Center at Bowers Park. The addition consists of an indoor pool with restrooms, showers, and other support areas, an new entrance facing the parking lot, and check-in area. The building is primarily concrete masonry with masonry veneer. Award of the contract will be made within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid opening. Plans and Specifications: Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at Ward Scott Morris Architecture, Inc., designated as the office of the awarding authority for this purpose, located at 1606 Paul W. Bryant Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
