CITY OF TUSCALOOSA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Project Name: City Hall Annex I Generator Replacement & Fire Pump Removal File Number: OCA-26-0721 CFG Project Number: 16001-26-001 Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read. Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Parking and Entry to City Hall: Free visitor parking is provided in the Intermodal Facility (parking deck) at 2230 7th Street. Access City Hall through the 4th-floor skywalk entrance to Security. Project Scope: Generator replacement, converting from diesel to natural gas and replacement of building ATS. Elimination of fire pump and associated equipment such as fire pump controller and annunciator. Removal of ATS serving fire pump. Reconnection of all fire water piping sans pump and relocation of FDC, removal of hydrant. Award of the contract will be made within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
