The Common Council of the City of Wausau do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Section 2.82.055 of the Wausau Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
2.82.055 Local Historic Landmarks. The following structure is hereby designated as a local historic landmark:
(38) East Gate Hall, 1201 Stewart Ave, PIN: 291.2907.352.0998
The Northwest quarter (NW ¼) of the Northwest quarter (1/4) and the North eighty (80) feet of the Southwest quarter (SW ¼) of the Northwest quarter (NW ¼) of Section Thirty-five (35) all in Township Twenty-nine (29) North of Range Seven (7) East, excepting the right-of-way of the Chicago & Northwestern Railway Company, and that portion of said land lying South of said right-of-way.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held illegal, invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision, and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remainder of this ordinance. It is legislative intent of the Common Council that this ordinance would have been adopted if such illegal provision had not been included or any illegal application had not been made.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its date of publication.
