CITY OF WORCESTER AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 79 OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF 2008 PROVIDING FOR A 20 MPH SCHOOL ZONE ON CAROLINE STREET In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 85, Section 2 and Chapter 90, Section 17 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts the following street segment is designated as a School Zone with a speed limit of 20 mph. Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Worcester as follows: Section 79 of Chapter 13 of the Revised Ordinances of 2008 be and is hereby amended by inserting in Schedule XXIII, thereof, after the provision for: Camp Street, from a point 200 feet east of Southgate Street to Southgate Street, "Canterbury Street Computer-Based Magnet School" the following new provision: Caroline Street, from Plantation Street to Grafton Street, "Worcester Cultural Academy" In City Council August 19, 2025 Passed to be Ordained by a yea and nay vote of Nine Yeas and No Nays.
