COLLIER COUNTY INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY Notice of Special Meeting and Public Hearing Notice is hereby given that the Collier County Industrial Development Authority (the "Authority") will conduct a special meeting and public hearing on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in the Port Room, Naples Bay Resort, 1500 Fifth Avenue South, Naples, Florida, 34102 for the purpose of receiving public comments and hearing discussion concerning the proposed issuance of the Authority's qualified 501(c)(3) revenue bonds, such revenue bonds being designated as the Collier County Industrial Development Authority Educational Facilities Revenue Bonds (Community School of Naples Project), Series 2026, or such similar designation as may be determined, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $35,000,000 (the "Bonds"), for the purpose of making a loan to the Community School of Naples, Inc., a Florida not for profit corporation (the "Borrower"). The proceeds of such loan are to be used for the purpose of providing funds, together with other available funds, to (a) finance a portion of the costs of acquiring, constructing and equipping of a state of the art middle school, a multipurpose auditorium and the rehabilitation and expansion of the varsity boys and girls locker rooms owned and operated by the Borrower (the "2026 Project"), (b) refinance and refund indebtedness previously incurred by the Borrower (the "2019 Bonds"), the proceeds of which were used to fund the cost of construction of the Borrower's Institute of Science and Environmental Research and counseling offices (the "Prior Project" and together with the 2026 Project, the "Projects"), and (c) pay certain expenses incurred in connection with the issuance of the Bonds. The Project will be owned by the Borrower and is located on the Borrower's campus at 13275 Livingston Road, Naples, Florida 34109. The hearing is being held for the purpose of affording the residents of Collier County, Florida (the "County") and other interested persons an opportunity to express their views, both orally and in writing, on the proposed issuance of the Bonds and the nature and location of the Projects to be financed or refinanced with the proceeds thereof. Pursuant to Resolution 2026-04 adopted June 29, 2026, the Authority has given initial approval of the issuance of the Bonds for the 2026 Project. Subsequent to the hearing, the Board of County Commissioners of Collier County, Florida (the "Board") will consider whether to approve the issuance of the Bonds. THE BONDS AND THE INTEREST THEREON SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE AN INDEBTEDNESS OR PLEDGE OF THE GENERAL CREDIT OR TAXING POWER OF THE AUTHORITY, THE COUNTY, THE STATE OF FLORIDA OR ANY POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OR AGENCY THEREOF BUT SHALL BE PAYABLE SOLELY FROM THE REVENUES PLEDGED THEREFOR PURSUANT TO A LOAN AGREEMENT OR OTHER FINANCING AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE AUTHORITY AND THE BORROWER PRIOR TO OR CONTEMPORANEOUSLY WITH THE ISSUANCE OF THE BONDS. THE AUTHORITY HAS NO TAXING POWER. SHOULD ANY PERSON DECIDE TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE AUTHORITY WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT SUCH HEARING, SUCH PERSON WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS AND, FOR THAT PURPOSE, SUCH PERSON MAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED.
