PROCEDURES
Write-in (letter protests) are welcomed. Petition forms are available online www.michigan.gov/statetaxcommission and on the Cottrellville Website. Letter protests are accepted, the protest must arrive at the Township Hall no later than 8:45 PM, March 10th, 2026 for your protest to be before the Board of Review. Protests can also be emailed to the Township: assessor@cott-township.org.

The March Board of Review will meet at the Cottrellville Township Hall, 7008 Marsh Road, Cottrellville, MI on March 9th, and 10th, 2026. The Board will meet to organize and review the Assessment Roll on March 4th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, and will hear protest from aggrieved property owners on:
Monday March 9, 2026 Tuesday March 10, 2026
* 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon * 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
* 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM * 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
