December Minutes 2025 RECREATION DISTRICT 3A 195 LAFAYETTE WOODS BLVD. HOUMA LA 70363 BOARD MEETING December 18, 2025 The meeting was called to order today December 18, 2025 by Board Chairman, Randy Lebouef, Jr. @ 5:07 pm. Roll was called, Randy Lebouef, Jr., Gwendolyn Davis, Jay Wayne Celestin, and Justin Champagne. Ralph Singleton, Absent There are two vacancies. Guest was: Marilyn Staidum-Matthews, Secretary, and Kenyada Douglas, Park Maintenance Worker. Public in Attendance: NONE Minutes from November 20, 2025 was reviewed and amended to include the Risk Management review for park equipment repairs. Received an email from Miracle Recreation, they will forward our request to replace the broken park equipment to a representative from Kincade Recreation that will be our point of contact. Also, update from Re-Conn (need part for trimmer) no charge to fix. Motioned made by Jay Celestin and Gwendolyn Davis seconded "THAT, the minutes of meetings be approved with the necessary updates. (Ayes-4; Nays-0; Vacant-2; Absent-1). The repairs remaining to be completed by the park is the shed and pavilion with the funds allocated from the reimbursements. Update on Pavillion with Southern Fabrication – still waiting on Chandelor. Quotes from Shawn Curry for the repairs needed to the shed, floors and storm doors on press boxes. Sexual Harassment Training -- email was forwarded to all board members with an updated course link to be completed for 2025. Members stated that they were having difficulty logging into the link to complete the course. Financial Report for the month ending November 30, 2025 was reviewed and discussed that when the CD mature in February; seek reinvestment terms and rates at other banks. Motion to accepted by Jay Celestin and 2nd by Justin Champagne. General Discussion: Work hours for Kenyada Douglas due to Christmas Holiday Next board meeting: January 15, 2026 Meeting was adjourned @ 5:37 pm motion made by Randy Lebouef, Jr., 2nd by Jay Celestin.
