Detroit Area Agency on Aging FY 2027 – 2029 Federal/State Funding Request for Proposal The Detroit Area Agency on Aging (DAAA) will begin accepting applications for its Federal/State Funding Request for Proposal: Case Coordination & Support Outreach Transportation Chore Services Friendly Reassurance Homemaker Personal Care Adult Day Services Elder Abuse Prevention Health Promotion-Evidence-Based Health Promotion-Non-Evidence-Based Home Repair Legal Assistance- Older Adult Caregiver: Case Management, Education, Legal Assistance, Support Groups, Training Respite Care: In-Home, Out-of-Home, Out-of-Home Overnight Kinship Case Management Kinship Caregiver: Education,Kinship Caregiver Respite Care,Legal Assistance Kinship Support Groups Kinship Caregiver Training A single application is needed for each service category you are applying for during this RFP process. Services will be funded through Older Americans Act and State funding. Please review the contents of each RFP carefully in order to prepare a competitive response. Late proposals will be rejected. Instructions, applications, and budget forms for the RFP will be available on the home page of the DAAA Website www.detroitseniorsolution.org. RFPs can be downloaded starting Friday, July 10, 2026. Proposal must be uploaded to DAAA's secure file no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. A Virtual Technical Assistance Workshop will be held through ZOOM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 and Thursday, July 16, 2026from 10:00AM – 12:00PM. Attendance at one is Mandatory.
