THE LAKEWOOD TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AUTHORITYNOTICE OF ADOPTION OF BOND RESOLUTION
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a resolution entitled: "RESOLUTION OF THE LAKEWOOD TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL UTILITIES AUTHORITY AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF NOT TO EXCEED $8,750,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF PROJECT NOTES RELATING TO THE WATER BANK CONSTRUCTION FINANCING PROGRAM OF THE NEW JERSEY INFRASTRUCTURE BANK AND DETERMINING VARIOUS MATTERS RELATING THERETO" (the "Resolution") was adopted by The Lakewood Township Municipal Utilities Authority (the "Authority") on June 2, 2026. Copies of said Resolution have been filed and are available for public inspection in the office of the Municipal Clerk of the Township of Lakewood, in the County of Ocean, New Jersey, in the Municipal Building in said Township located at 231 Third Street, Lakewood, New Jersey 08701, and in the office of said Authority, 390 New Hampshire Avenue, Lakewood, New Jersey 08701.
Any action or proceeding of any kind or nature in any court questioning the validity or proper authorization of the notes provided for by the Resolution, or the validity of any covenants, agreements or contract provided for by the Resolution shall be commenced within 20 days after the first publication of this notice. If no action or proceeding questioning the validity of the creation and establishment of the municipal authority, or the validity or proper authorization of notes provided for by the Resolution, or the validity of any covenants, agreements or contract provided for by said Resolution shall be commenced or instituted within 20 days after the first publication of this notice, then all residents and taxpayers and owners of property in the district and users of the utility system and all other persons whatsoever shall be forever barred and foreclosed from instituting or commencing any action or proceeding in any court, or from pleading any defense to any action or proceedings, questioning the validity of the creation and establishment of the municipal authority, or the validity or proper authorization of the notes, or the validity of any such covenants, agreements or contracts, and said municipal authority shall be conclusively deemed to have been validly created and established and to be authorized to transact business and exercise powers as a municipal authority under this act, and said notes, covenants, agreements and contracts shall be conclusively deemed to be valid and binding obligations in accordance with their terms and tenor.
