Under and by virtue of an order of the Superior Court of Cumberland County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled "COUNTY OF CUMBERLAND, a political subdivision of the State of North Carolina vs. MARY E. MORRIS AKA MARY LILLIAN MORRIS, all assignees, heirs at law, and devisees of MARY E. MORRIS AKA MARY LILLIAN MORRIS, deceased, together with all his/her creditors and Lienholders regardless of how or through whom they claim, and any and all persons claiming any interest in the estate of MARY E. MORRIS AKA MARY LILLIAN MORRIS, deceased, Owner(s)", the Commissioner will at 12:00 noon, on the 03/17/2026, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Cumberland County, North Carolina, in Fayetteville, the following described real property, lying and being in Township, State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:
Being all of Lot No. 2 Block "D" in a Subdivision known as Bragg Estates, Section III, according to a plat of same duly recorded in Book of Plats 31, page 31, Cumberland County Registry, North Carolina.
Subject to restrictive covenants, easements, rights-of-way, restrictions, and other conditions which appear of record in the Cumberland County Registry. PIN No.: 9592-66-5280
This conveyance is made subject to restrictive covenants, easements, and right-of-way of record.
The said property is being sold as is, with all existing conditions or faults. The last and highest bid will be accepted and will be final and irrevocable and may not be withdrawn and shall not be refunded after the sale. The last and highest bidder shall be responsible for making any investigation deemed appropriate prior to sale as to the condition of the property, the state of title to the property, or any other matter affecting the property.
The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause. This sale will not convey any personal property that may be located on the real property and the Commissioner makes no warranties or representations as to whether improvements to real property are real or personal in nature. A deposit of 20% or $750.00 whichever is greater in cash or certified funds of the successful bid will be required.
