H.008271 RAPIDES PARISH An Open House Public Meeting has been scheduled as follows: Thursday, November 13, 2025 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Frank O. Hunter Basketball Gym 2399 Willow Glen River Rd Alexandria, LA 71302 The City of Alexandria and the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) are conducting an open house public meeting for the proposed Sugar House Road Extension Project. The proposed project develops a connector route between LA 1, I-49 and highways US 167 and US 71. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information about the project and to obtain input from interested parties. There will be exhibits highlighting route alternatives and additional project information. Representatives from the project team will be available at the open house to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project.
