Isaiah Vialpando
1/20/95 - 9/2/15
Isaiah,
Losing you is still so inconceivable,
especially this time of the year.
But we'll never fail to memorialize you
by spreading good deeds so sincere.
Everyday something reminds us of you,
we just never know when.
It might be something someone says
and then it all comes back again.
Then the pain strikes like a lightning bolt
and we're back at step one.
Our reality is an actual nightmare living
without our only son!
Each morning when we awake,
we quickly realize that you're gone.
Each second that passes,
we pray to somehow carry on.
The road of grief is beyond distance,
it's truly lifelong.
So, we give thanks to our Lord for
the strength to remain strong.
No amount of love can bring you back,
this is something we just can't fix.
As parents this feeling of helplessness
is a horrible way to exist.
So, to those who are responsible
for the life you were denied.
Our anger is unwavering and will not subside.
You can't run from karma there's nowhere to hide!
This world can bring such darkness,
but your luminous soul continues to light the way.
If we knew we'd only have you for such a short time,
we’d do it all over anyway.
We know you had such big plans that never came true.
But now God has bigger plans
and he always comes through!
The way you lived life inspires generations to come.
Ensuring your music and spirit lives
on forever and then some.
We know you're still with us from
signs we receive can only be you.
So when your signs can't be explained,
we know divine intervention is true.
When God calls us home, we'll happily embrace.
Faithful in prayer, again we'll see your handsome face.
Then the pieces of our shattered hearts
will mend back into place.
For now we'll find comfort from
our Lords good grace.
Eternally Loved and Missed,
Dad and Mom
