We open our noses and we can smell some of the food you made for our family. We can also touch something that belonged to you. You are not lost to us. We know exactly where you are, you are in our hearts and all we have to do is close our eyes and remember you. We think of things you used to say, and all that you would do and our thoughts will turn to you. We try to remind ourselves of the happy times we had. We know we can't be with you now and you can't be with us, but safe inside our hearts you'll stay. That's where you'll always stay. I held your hand when you took your last breath on earth, and your first breath in heaven. We love and miss you every day!
