Filed Sub-Bids for the Electrical and Roofing Work for the Eastham Salt Shed, Eastham, MA project will be received until 11:00 a.m. eastern prevailing time on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. General Bids for the Eastham Salt Shed, Eastham, MA project will be received until 11:00 a.m. eastern prevailing time on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Bids shall be submitted electronically at www.ProjectdoC.com. For assistance, contact Projectdog, Inc. at 978.499.9014. Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available electronically at no cost on ProjectdoC.com under Project ID #261171, beginning July 23, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Tutorials and instructions are available online at www.ProjectdoC.com, and instructions for submitting Bids are included in Section 00100, Instructions to Bidders and Standard Operating Procedure Submission (SOPS). Each Bid shall also be accompanied by a Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified, treasurer's, or cashier's check in the amount of 5 percent of the value of the Bid. All Addenda must be acquired electronically at www.ProjectdoC.com. Any amendment to the Bid documents shall be issued through written Addenda and posted to the Projectdog website accompanied by e-mail notification to every individual or firm on record as having received the Bid documents.
In general, and without limitation the work under this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to the construction of a new salt storage shed. The proposed salt shed will include furnishing all labor, services, equipment, and materials for the site preparation, clearing, grubbing, excavation, drainage installation, concrete foundation and frost walls, installation of the pre-engineered timber material storage shed including a roof truss system, roofing, electrical, and paving as shown on the plans and as described in the Contract Documents. Filed Sub-Bid Categories include Roofing and Electrical Work.
It is the intent of this Contract to begin construction in or around September 2026, and to complete all construction activities within 180 calendar days, including all paving and final site restoration. Successful Bidder must furnish 100 percent Performance Bond and 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. Federal Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the United States Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act also apply to this project. Federal and State Minimum Wage Rates are contained in Appendix B and C of the Contract Documents, respectively. This project requires compliance with the Department of Environmental Protection's Diesel Retrofit Program. This project is funded in part by the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust (the "Trust"). The Contractor shall comply with all funding requirements. Pursuant to 40 CFR Section 33.301, the Contractor agrees to make good faith efforts whenever procuring construction, equipment, services, and supplies under an EPA financial assistance agreement. Records documenting compliance with the six good faith efforts shall be retained. The bidding and award of the Contract shall be in full compliance with Sections 44A to 44J inclusive of Chapter 149 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as last revised.
