INVITATION FOR BID IFB #26-138-20, Project 7883 Building CHS Stairwell Expansion and Interior Remodel NTC Wausau Main Campus The Northcentral Technical College District is currently soliciting bids for the Building CHS Stairwell Expansion and Interior Remodel located at 1000 W. Bidding documents for this project will be available on Thursday, May 28, 2026, after 2:00p.m., CDT. A mandatory walkthrough for all contractors interested in bidding this project will be held at 11:30a.m., CDT, on June 3, 2026, at NTC's Center for Health Science Building located at 1000 W. Campus Dr., Wausau, WI 54401. Meeting held in room CHS1004B. No bid shall be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 10% of the amount bid, payable to Northcentral Technical College, as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. All bids submitted must be guaranteed for a period of at least sixty (60) days following the date of bid opening. All bids must be submitted, on the forms provided, in a sealed opaque envelope, or box, clearly marked with the IFB number and description (IFB #26-138-20, Project 7883 Building CHS Stairwell Expansion) and mailed or hand-delivered to: Lucas Chariton Financial Services (Room C152) Northcentral Technical College 1000 W. A public bid opening will take place shortly thereafter in Room CHS1004A of the Center for Health Science building located on the Wausau Campus, 1000 W. Campus Dr., Wausau, WI.
