INVITATION FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received at Dexter Avenue King Memorial Legacy Center located at 455 Washington Avenue, Montgomery, Alabama, at 2:00p.m. December 19, 2025, for the Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church Renovations, for all labor, equipment, and materials (as specified) at which time will be opened and read aloud. Contract time shall be 240 consecutive calendar days from the effective date shown in the Notice to Proceed. Bidder must be qualified under Alabama Law and show current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Alabama General Contractors Board establishing classification as to the value and type of construction on which he is authorized to bid. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate on the form included in the Project Manual and must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of at least five percent of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount. Plan holders and plan rooms are required to register at www.bsaplanroom.com to view and order bid documents.
