INVITATION TO BID: ITB-26-01-PW: Lake Bank Restoration- Lake 43
The GATEWAY SERVICES COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT ("GSCDD" or "District") , Florida will receive SEALED BIDS for ITB-26-01-PW: Lake Bank Restoration- Lake 43 at District Office, 11922 Fairway Lakes Dr., Suite #1, Fort Myers, FL. 33913 on or before Dec. 17, 2025 @ 2:00 P.M. EST and will be opened immediately thereafter at 13240 Griffin Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33913. Any bid received by the DISTRICT later than the above time shall remain unopened. Project scope includes but is not limited to:
Restoration of approximately 3,500 LF of shoreline for Pond 43 within Pelican Preserve, including:
Placement of geotextile fabric and lime rock base/fill mix, graded to a 4:1 slope.
Sodding and restoration of any disturbed irrigation or staging areas.
Dewatering if needed (with approval) and verification of existing stormwater infrastructure.
The scope is further defined and detailed within the Plans, Technical Specifications and General Conditions associated with this project. Contractor is responsible for reviewing all documentation associated with this project. The project will be built in strict compliance with the plans and specifications in the Contract Documents.
All work performed shall follow all Federal, State, Local, District, OSHA and department mandated regulations and specifications for associated work.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE
There is a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting at the ROW of Cypress Grove Dr between Carena Cir and Giulia Dr. on Nov. 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM EST. For GPS directions, use the neighboring address: 11500 Giulia Dr., Fort Myers, FL 33191.
The CONTRACTOR agrees to perform all the work necessary to complete all items listed. The OWNER has the right to accept or reject any or all part of a submitted bid. This project requires the Contractor to be properly and appropriately licensed and insured in the State of Florida, Fort Myers and Lee County, Florida.
The DISTRICT will require a Bid Security/Bond and a Public Construction Bond on this project.

The District reserves the right, in its sole judgment in the best interest of the District, to waive any informalities in any bids; to make award(s) including multiple awards; to waive any non-substantive, in District's sole judgment, irregularity or technicality in bids received, and/or to reject any or all bids.
