BID DOCUMENTS (Contract Documents) will be available on Monday, September 22, 2024 at the Childers Construction Company FTP site: www.childers-construction.com/ Account: historic Password: sites It is the responsibility of the bidders and vendors to inquire concerning additional Supplements and Addendums that are normally issued during the bid process. All revisions will be posted on Childers FTP site. PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 8:30am on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Governor Martin Carriage House. GENERAL PREQUALIFICATION Bidders must be prequalified by the Construction Manager to bid the project. All bidders must prequalify for the current 2025 year and must submit the form in this bid package. Confirm your status with Tawni Glover or Savannah Truman at 850-222-2281, to make sure you are pre-qualified to bid this project. Prequalifications must be submitted a minimum of 7 days prior to bid. BID SECURITY There is 5% security required to bid this project for EVERY Bid Package. BONDING All bids exceeding $100,000 shall provide Performance & Payment Bonds. SEALED BIDS will be received by the Construction Manager until 2:00 PM Thursday, October 30, 2025. Bidders are advised to hand deliver bids or send by US mail, FEDEX or UPS to 108 E Jefferson St, Tallahassee, FL 32317 and must be confirmed by the bidder by calling our office (850) 491-1385.
