Sealed Bids will be received at Belt Public Schools, Attn: Joe Gaylord, 1 Church Street, Belt, MT 59412, by Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM Local Time. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. All interested parties are invited to attend. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud immediately after specified closing time for:
Belt Public Schools Underground Storage Tank Replacement. Project consists of removal of the existing storage tank and installation of new tank in similar location.
All Bids must be on a lump sum basis; segregated Bids will not be accepted. Project construction to be started and completed prior to August 10, 2026, if tank procurement timeframes allow. Project work can begin during the school year but must be coordinated with the District.
A site walk-thru at the school will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM Local Time at Belt Public Schools Main Office. All Bidders are encouraged to attend.
Bids shall be submitted on the form provided with the Project Manual. Drawings and Project Manual may be examined at the Great Falls Builders Exchange, located at 325 2nd Street South, Great Falls Phone: (406) 453-2513 or any of the Montana Builders Exchanges. Drawings and Project Manual may be printed upon request and upon payment at current printing rates of the establishment, and will be available starting Monday, March 16, 2026.
The responsibility for obtaining enough information for Bidding purposes from the complete Contract Documents shall remain with the party requesting Documents. Addenda and Prior Approvals will be distributed through the Builders' Exchange.
Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The Contractor shall comply with all fair labor practices and shall meet the requirements of Montana Prevailing Wage rates and Montana Gross Receipts Tax. A Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the bid, and a Performance Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the bid will be required.
No Bidder may withdraw their Bid for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids except as noted in the Instruction to Bidders.
The Project will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
