Invitation to Bid #2026-038 LINE PAINTING / PAVEMENT MARKING Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Purchasing Agent, Room 217 City Hall, Gardner, MA until Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 3:00 PM and at that time and place publicly opened. This invitation seeks bids from qualified contractors for the delivery of line painting and pavement marking in accordance with prescribed procedures and schedule required by the Director of Public Works. Bidders must provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to satisfy the requirements of this bid. Contract shall be an annual contract with the option of renewal for two additional years, at the sole discretion of the City of Gardner. Bidding procedure and award shall be subject to the provisions of Chapter 30, Section 39M of the General Laws of the Commonwealth, including all current amendments. The City of Gardner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, and to accept proposals deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Bids may not be withdrawn within 30 business days after the bid opening. Specifications, Terms and Conditions and Proposal Forms may be obtained online at www.gardner-ma.gov/Bids.aspx. Project is subject to the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Law. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Gardner is required in a dollar amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount.
