INVITATION TO BID Separate sealed (hard copy) bids for I-40 – Lee Creek Water System Improvements Project No. 2025057, will be received by City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities (Owner) at 2806 Bryan Road, Van Buren, Arkansas, until 10:00 a.m. (local time) on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at which time and location bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids shall be addressed "City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities" and shall be labeled "Bid for I-40 – Lee Creek Water System Improvements (HWEI Project No. 2025057)". Bidders shall include their Arkansas license number on the outside of their sealed bids. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened. This project includes the installation of approximately 423-feet of 12-inch encased ductile iron water line and approximately 300-feet of 4-inch ductile iron water line. The information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined online at QuestCDN (see below). Copies may be obtained from QuestCDN upon a non-refundable payment of $22.00 for each set. Bidders are responsible for reproduction costs, and Bids will not be accepted from any Prospective Bidder who has not purchased contract documents through QuestCDN. All Bidder questions must be submitted through the QuestCDN project portal page. Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda duly issued in accordance with the requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Information regarding the number of Addenda that have been duly issued can be obtained from QuestCDN at www.questcdn.com/cdn/posting Quest Number: 10227230 Bidders may schedule a time to examine the construction site by contacting the project engineer at (479) 474-1227. Site visits must be scheduled no less than 48 hours in advance. Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 17-25-101 and related statutes. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Bid opening date. This publication was paid for by the City of Van Buren Municipal Utilities, and the cost of the publication is $555.00 per Arkansas Act 954 of 2021.
