JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) # 2025-011 FOR: Public Art Project – T-Mobile Mural Proposals Due Date/Time: October 29, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. EST The Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners ("County") is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Mural Artists to design and install an exterior Public Mural at 151 N Jefferson Street in downtown Monticello, Florida. This project consists of designing a concept that depicts wildlife and the natural environment specific to Jefferson County. The mural concept should prominently features the word "Monticello," with each letter and the surrounding composition illustrating the unique natural beauty of Jefferson County. Work scope includes design, surface preparation, installment using appropriate materials for an exterior public mural, final sealant, mural maintenance plan and community engagement requirements. Mural design must be unique to this project. To ensure the mural's content is accurate and effectively represents T-Mobile and Jefferson County, up to three rounds of revisions must be included in the proposal at no extra cost to Jefferson County. Sealed hard copy proposals for the above described project will be received at the Jefferson County Manager's Office, Attn: Shannon Metty, 450 W. Walnut St., Monticello, Florida 32344, until October 29, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST); Proposals received after said time will not be accepted and these proposals will be disqualified. Designs will be reviewed by committees on the dates specified in Section 1.0 - Schedule of Events in the RFP.
