JOINT LAND USE BOARD OF THE BOROUGH OF DUMONT
Please take notice that Maureen Strehl t/a Broadway Bound Dance Center (the "Applicant") is seeking approval with regard to 75 West Madison Avenue, Dumont, more specifically known as Block 1207; Lot 6 on the Dumont Tax Map (the "Property"). In accordance with the Development Ordinances of Dumont, the Applicant seeks the following with regard to the Property:
1. Preliminary and Final Site Plan Approval for the construction of a 2-story structure to be utilized as a "dance studio" upon the Property.
2. A variance for all existing conditions related to the Property, including, but not limited to, Min. Sidewalk Area (10' required; 7' provided). The continuation of all variances and waivers presently existing on the Property and not otherwise set forth with specificity.
3. Variances for Building Height (28' required; 29.92' proposed) and Parking (13 required; 4 proposed).
4. In addition to the foregoing, the Applicant will also seek such other variances, design waivers, or waivers of submission requirements as become necessary or apparent during the pendency of the within matter.
Anyone affected by this application may have an opportunity to be heard at a public meeting of the Board to be held on November 25, 2025, at 7:30pm located at Borough Hall, 50 Washington Avenue, Dumont, New Jersey.
When this matter is called you may appear in person, or by agent or attorney, and present any objections or comments you may have with regard to the within application. All documents related to this Application may be inspected by the public at the office of the Board Secretary and/or the Building Department at Borough Hall, 50 Washington Avenue, Dumont, New Jersey during regular business hours.
