NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Land Use Board of the Borough of Allendale will hold a public hearing on October 15, 2025 at 7:00 PM in the Allendale Municipal Building, 500 West Crescent Avenue, 2nd Floor, Allendale NJ 07401 on the application of Michael Mahle & Danna Marino (Applicants) of 246 Park Avenue, Allendale, NJ 07401 (Block No. 2206, Lot No. 7) for Variances as required to permit construction of an attached deck on an undersized, narrow lot, adjacent to a regulated waterway. Variances are required for the following: (1) a side yard setback of 11.7 feet where 15 feet is required [per 270-64C(1)] , (2) a rear yard setback of 36.3 where a 50 feet is required [per 270-57D] and (3) distance between buildings of 6.7 where 10 feet is required [per 270-14A], therefore we are seeking approvals from the Land Use Board for a Hardship Variance, a Bulk Variance, as well as any other potential relief that the Board may deem necessary.
