Lansing Community Library
Notice is hereby given that the annual meeting of the inhabitants of the Lansing Central School District, as taxpayers for the Lansing Community Library, will be held at the Lansing Community Library, 27 Auburn Road, Lansing, New York, 14882, in said District, On Monday, April 21, 2025 at 7 p.m. for the transaction of such business as is authorized by the Education Law. And notice is also given that a copy of the statement of the amount of money which will be required for the ensuing year for library purposes may be obtained by any taxpayer in the district during the fourteen days immediately preceding the annual meeting, except Sundays or holidays, at the Lansing Community Library, 27 Auburn Road, Lansing, NY 14882 during its regular hours of business.
And notice is also given that petitions nominating candidates for the office of Members of the Board of Trustees must be filed in the Lansing Community Library with the Librarian, not later than 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2025. The following vacancies are to be filled on the Board of Trustees: three persons, each with a three year term beginning June 1, 2025.
And notice is also given that applications for absentee ballots for the election of Board members may be applied for at the library, that a list of all persons to whom absentee ballots have been issued will be available during the regular hours on each of the five days preceding the election except Sunday, and that such list also will be posted at the polling place on the day of election.
Voting on the election of the Trustees and appropriation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the Lansing Community Library.
