LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Bay County Sheriff is offering vendors an opportunity to submit proposals for providing Inmate Food Services on a contract basis at the Bay County Sheriff's Office Jail Facility. The Facility is currently averaging a daily inmate population of around 1100 and typically averages a monthly intake and release of 2500 individuals. The Sheriff is seeking to identify and select an independent company to perform the activities requested in this RFP. The Vendor must be currently engaged in providing institutional food services. The Vendor will also be expected to provide sufficient on-site staff to oversee the inmate work crews assigned to the food service operation. To follow this Request For Proposals, the submitted proposal must include the itemized criteria related to the requirements concerning operations, pricing, scope of services, references, company profile and qualified personnel whose backgrounds have been approved prior to startup. Proposals must include an itemized list, including anticipated purchase price of any new kitchen equipment deemed to be necessary for use during the term of the awarded contract.
