LEGAL NOTICE COMMUNITY NATURE EDUCATION CENTER DESIGN The project site is located in Shalersville Township at 8299 Nicodemus Road, Ravenna Ohio, 44266 Portage Park District is seeking experienced and qualified consulting firms to design improvements to an existing pre-engineered metal building, which was built in approximately 1994. The 48' x 96' metal clad building was formerly used for agricultural storage. The existing building is in good condition and is serviced by electricity and well water. There is the potential to connect to the existing septic at the Portage Park District Operations Center. The size of the building is adequate for park use. A building assessment for programmed uses will need to be conducted to determine how the interior of the building may be reconfigured to best serve the Park District's needs. Statements of professional qualifications will be accepted until 12:00 noon, April 17, 2026. The successful firm will work under the direction of the Portage Park District.
