BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT 
The Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Pompton Lakes will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 25th 2025, at 8:00 PM in the Municipal Building, 25 Lenox Avenue, Pompton Lakes, to consider the application of BOA 25-10 for a variance from the provisions of the Zoning Ordinances as follows:
1901-158(2). Reason: Bulk Schedule for rear yard setbacks for R-3 Zone, requires 70-0" whereas proposed 35'-0".
To permit: The construction of 28'-0'L x 17'-7"H deck in the rear yard at the back of the house. The reason to built the deck is to elevate the existing concrete patio base which gets muddy and flooded with water when it rains since the property is on pitch. The construction of an elevated deck shall enable us to effectively and efficiently utilize the backyard space of house for family gathering and recreational purposes. 
The property is located at 14 Summit Avenue. Pompton Lakes. NJ - 07442. 
and designated as Block: 6702 and Lot: 4.05 on the Official Tax Map of the Borough of Pompton Lakes.
A copy of the application is on file with the Board secretary in the Municipal Building and is available for inspection during normal business hours.
