WEST MILFORD PLANNING BOARD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That an application has been filed with the Planning Board of the Township of West Milford, County of Passaic, NJ by TA Realty Group, LLC for site plan approval of a 50-foot by 60-foot pole barn.
The applicant will seek approvals of the site plan and variances for minimum lot area where 3 acres or 130,680 sf is required, .683 acres or 29,739 sf is existing and .683 acres or 29,739 sf is proposed; minimum lot width of 300 feet is required, 285.5 feet is existing and 285.5 feet is proposed; minimum lot depth of 300 feet is required, 100.1 feet is existing and 100.1 is proposed; minimum gross floor area required for each building is 5,000 sf and proposed is 3,000 sf; minimum front yard setback required from Greenwood Lake Turnpike and Burnt Meadow Road is 125 feet and 115.3 feet is proposed for Greenwood Lake Turnpike and 36.6 feet is proposed for Burnt Meadow Road; minimum side yard setbacks required are 75 feet and 13.6 feet is proposed to the west of the property; any other variances and approvals that may be determined to be required.
A public hearing has been scheduled for August 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the main meeting room of Town Hall at 1480 Union Valley Road, West Milford, NJ 07480. The application form and plan can be reviewed by request at the West Milford Planning Department office at 1480 Union Valley Road, West Milford NJ 07480 (973) 728-2796 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday but summer hours currently apply of 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Wednesday and closed Friday. Any meetings that are carried may have new scheduling information that is available from the Planning Department office. At the time the application is heard, you may appear in person or by attorney and offer any comments you have concerning this application.
