LEGAL NOTICE Public Auction of Used Surplus Property by Massillon City School District
Notice is hereby given that Massillon City School District (the "District") will offer for sale at public auction used surplus equipment no longer needed for school purposes, pursuant to Ohio Revised Code §3313.41.
The surplus property includes, but is not limited to:
Massillon Operations Facility:
Mowers, technology equipment, miscellaneous items from buildings and grounds operations.
Massillon Middle School:
Weight room equipment, miscellaneous supplies and surplus items.
Washington High School:
Athletic equipment, miscellaneous supplies and surplus items.
The auction will be conducted online via Fast Track Marketplace at www.fasttrackauction.com.
Auction Start: July 6, 2026 through August 7, 2026
Specific closing times will be posted @ WWW.FASTTRACKAUCTION.COM
Photos, preview information, removal times, and full terms and conditions will be available online.
Method of Sale:
The property will be sold in accordance with Fast Track's Conditions of Sale. Items may be sold individually, in lots, in bulk, or in any combination. This is an absolute auction; all property will be sold to the highest bidder, with no reserve.
Buyer's Premium:
A 17% buyer's premium will be added to all winning bids (e.g., a $100 bid = $117 total charge).
Payment:
All purchases must be paid in full at auction close. Buyers are responsible for ensuring sufficient available balance.
Sales Tax:
Sales tax will be collected where applicable in accordance with state and local tax laws.
