TAKE NOTICE that Bharat Sankaran and Kalpana Ramakrishnan have applied to the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Edison for bulk and use variances sought to:
Adding a second level to a pre-existing, nonconforming single-story home in the RBB zone (nonconforming due to pre-existing building coverage higher than current allowable coverage), note that no part of the existing building is added
Proposed second floor addition will exceed the current allowable FAR for this Zone (R-BB). This is due to the existing building structure requires the second story to have a small increase in FAR that would allow for a more efficient design that works better with the current building constraints rather than against them
and any other variances necessary per said application CASE# Z27-2025
Located as Block 495, Lot 66 on the property known as 4 Brandywine Ct, Edison, NJ, 08820. A public hearing on said application will be held on Tuesday evening, 09/16/25 at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Boulevard, Edison, and when the calendar is called, you may appear in person or by attorney and present any objections which you may have to the granting of this variation. If you do not have any objections, you do not have to attend this hearing.
