TAKE NOTICE that the undersigned has applied to the Planning Board of the Borough of Union Beach so as to permit the applicant to: Keep the existing patio at the rear of the property. Patio located 2'.6" from property line where 5' is required.
For Property Located at 1 Maple Street, Union Beach NJ 07735 Also known as Block 143 Lot 1 on the Tax Map of the Borough The Applicant, Ivan & Marilou Melendez Of 1 Maple Street, Union Beach NJ 07735 REQUESTS THE FOLLOWING BULK/USE VARIANCES, SITE PLAN AND/OR MINOR/MAJOR SUBDIVISION: Keep the existing patio at the rear of the property. Patio located 2'.6" from property line where 5' is required.
The applicant requests that the application be deemed amended to include any additional approvals, bulk variance(s), design waivers, deviations, interpretations or exceptions which are determined to be necessary in the review and processing of this application, whether requested by the Planning Board or otherwise.
A copy of the application has been filed with the Secretary of the Planning Board, and may be inspected in the Borough Clerk's office during normal business hours.
The public hearing will be held on 10/22/25. A Workshop meeting is held at 7:00 pm followed by the Regular Meeting at 7:30 pm. The meetings are held in the
Council Chambers located in the Municipal Building, 650 Poole Avenue, Union Beach, New Jersey. You may participate at said public hearing either in person or through legal counsel to present any and all objections or support you may have, and any other general comments relative to the Application, so that all interested parties may be heard. Please note that the Board may, at its discretion, adjourn, postpone, or continue the hearing from time to time, and you should make inquiry of the Board secretary and/or monitor updates on the Borough website concerning such adjournments, postponements or continuations. In the event of such a postponement, adjournment or continuation of this hearing you should make inquiry of the Board secretary concerning the date and time of that next Board meeting.
