LEGAL NOTICE
Please take notice that at the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Valhalla Fire District, Town of Mt Pleasant, County of Westchester, State of New York, at its regularly scheduled monthly meeting held on Wednesday November 12, 2025 at 330 ColumbusAvenue, Valhalla, New York, a resolution was adopted, an abstract of which as follows: Resolved that the Secretary of Valhalla Fire District be authorized to withdraw from the Capital Reserve Fund heretofore established for the purchase of firefighting equipment, apparatus and appurtenant thereto up to a sum of $26,445.00 for the following IT upgrade project: server replacement ($5,840.00), key access system ($8,400.00), Responder app TV display system ($11,085.00), implement Mobile Device Management (MDM) ($1,120.00).
Please take notice that the adoption of this resolution is subject to a Permissive Referendum and shall take effect thirty (30) days after its adoption, unless there shall be filed in the interim with the Fire District Secretary, a petition signed and acknowledgedand approved in the same manner as a deed to be recorded by resident tax payers owning taxable real property aggregating at least one-fourth of the assessed valuation of all taxable real property of the Fire District as such valuation appear on the latest completed assessment roll of the Mt Pleasant protesting and requesting that it be submitted to the qualified electors of the Fire District for their approval.
