Legal Notice NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOONE, IOWA, CONCERNING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY; A PORTION OF THE NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY IN THE 800 BLOCK OF DIVISION STREET; WHICH ABUTTS THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE OF 818 DIVISION STREET TO THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE OF 816 DIVISION STREET. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Boone, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on December 15, 2025, at 6:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 923-8th St., Boone, Iowa, at which hearing the Council proposes to vacate public right-of-way and convey said vacated right-of-way by resolution described as follows: A portion of the public right of way, North/South alley in the 800 block of Division Street which abuts the North property line 818 Division Street to the South property line of 816 Division Street Boone, IA 50036 Anyone wishing to object to the vacation and conveyance of the vacated right-of-way to the adjoining property owner should submit their objection in writing by 4:00 p.m. on the date of the hearing at the city clerk's office or submit their objection orally at the hearing.
