Legal Notice NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a resolution was duly adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the HAWTHORNE FIRE DISTRICT, Town of Mount Pleasant, County of Westchester, State of New York, on the 16th day of April, 2026, subject to permissive referendum as provided for by the Town Law. An extract of the resolution is as follows: THE HAWTHORNE FIRE DISTRICT SHALL SELL A 2018 FORD EC4 AMBULANCE NO LONGER NECESSARY FOR THE DISTRICT'S USES AND PURPOSES VALUED AT APPROXIMATELY THIRTY THOUSAND ($30,000) DOLLARS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS UNDER SECTION 176 SUBDIVISION 23 OF THE TOWN LAW. Sale of said property is subject to permissive referendum as required under Section 176 subdivision 23 of the Town Law and in accordance with procedures for permissive referendums as described in the General Municipal Law.
