Legal Notice Notice is hereby given that Midland Community Bank, located at 112 Market St., Kincaid, IL and United Community Bank, located at 301 N. Main St., Chatham, IL are applying with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for its consent to engage in a merger transaction involving a Corporate Reorganization whereas two Midland Community Bank branches will become United Community Bank branches located in Kincaid and Taylorville, IL. It is contemplated that all offices of the above-named institutions will continue to be operated. This notice is published pursuant to Section 18(c) of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. Any person wishing to comment on this application may file his or her comments in writing with the Regional Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at its Regional Office, 300 S Riverside Plaza, Suite 1700, Chicago, IL 60606 not later than August 7, 2026. The non-confidential portions of the application are on file in the Regional Office and are available for public inspection during regular business hours.
