LEGAL NOTICE TO GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP PROPERTY OWNERS November 21, 2025 The Greenfield Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, Zoning Board of Trustees, hereby gives notice of a PUBLIC HEARING on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 6:00 pm, at the Greenfield Township Fire Department, 3245 Havensport Rd, Carroll, OH 43112, on the following: A RESOLUTION TO ALLOW GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP TO FULFILL PUBLIC NOTICE REQUIREMENTS ONLINE WHEREAS: Ohio House Bill 315 effective April 2nd, 2025, allows Townships with their own websites to fulfill public notice requirements online. WHEREAS: Greenfield Township Zoning Resolution, effective March 12th, 2025, in Sections 225.03 (Public Hearing by the Board of Zoning Appeals), and 230.05 (Public Hearing by the Board of Zoning Appeals), requires publication of notices for hearings in a newspaper of general circulation. WHEREAS: Greenfield Township Zoning Resolution, effective March 12th, 2025, Appendix A, Article II, Section 8 (e) (Public Notice of All Meetings) states "Postings and newspaper notices must be within 10 days of the Meeting date. Day #1 is the date that the notice first appears in the newspaper publication." NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES, COUNTY OF FAIRFIELD, STATE OF OHIO: We, on behalf of its residents, do hereby resolve to utilize the Township's website, www.greenfieldtwp.org, for all required general hearing notifications, notifications of Trustee hearings, notifications of Zoning Commission hearings and the notifications of Board of Zoning Appeals hearings a minimum of 10 calendar days prior to the hearing. All Greenfield Township property owners have a right to appear in person to question the Commission or give testimony for, or in opposition to, the resolution.
