Melrose Armory Epoxy Flooring Upgrade (MA National Guard) Section 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT TO BID MGL c.149 Under $150K The MASSACHUSETTS MILITARY DIVISION, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Epoxy Flooring Upgrade project at the Melrose Armory in accordance with the documents prepared by the Construction and Facilities Management Office, (CFMO). The Project consists of but not limited to: The flooring throughout the drill shed and associated operational areas has deteriorated to the point of being a tripping, slipping, or falling hazard. The current flooring fails to meet safety, durability and aesthetic standards, and impacts the operational readiness of the facility. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO) formerly known as SOMWBA. The Construction Workforce Utilization Goals are 15.3% minority workers and 6.9% women workers of the final contract price including accepted alternates. The work is estimated to cost $70,000.00 All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by May 29, 2026_ at 10:00AM EDT for general bids. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive. THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID AND HARD COPY BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
