MORAINE PARK TECHNICAL COLLEGE DISTRICT BOARD MEETING MINUTES February 18, 2026 ATTENDANCE A meeting of the Moraine Park Technical College District Board was called to order at 5:07 p.m., February 18, 2026, in Room A112 of Moraine Park Technical College, 235 N. National Ave., Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Chairperson Kate Treichel presiding. Board members present at the meeting were Vernon Jung, Lisa McArthur, Wayne Weber, Robert Traylor, Melissa Kescenovitz, Bur Zeratsky, and Sara Hintz. Board member Joel Ongert was excused. APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION Zeratsky, second Hintz, that the Moraine Park Technical College District Board approve the January 21, 2026 meeting minutes presented. Vote: Ayes: 8; Opposed: 0. Motion CARRIED. CONSENT ITEMS – MONTHLY BUSINESS MOTION Jung, second Kescenovitz, that the Moraine Park Technical College District Board approve the following presidential parameter consent items as presented: 1. Human Resources – Employment; 2. Financial Services – Accounting/Investments; 3. Economic Development Contracting; and that the bills for the month of January be approved and payments are authorized, ordered, and confirmed. January receipts total $11,923,703.59. January disbursements total -$6,114,984.97. Roll call vote: Traylor, yes; Ongert, excused; Hintz, yes; Kescenovitz, yes; Jung, yes; Weber, yes; McArthur, yes; Zeratsky, yes; and Treichel, yes. Motion CARRIED. APPROVAL OF RETIREMENT MOTION McArthur, second Jung, that the Moraine Park Technical College District Board accept the retirement of Troy Niemuth. Vote: Ayes: 8; Opposed: 0. Motion CARRIED. APPROVAL OF 2026-27 STUDENT INTAKE FEES MOTION Traylor, second Zeratsky, that the Moraine Park Technical College District Board approve the student intake fees for 2026-27 as proposed. Roll call vote: Traylor, yes; Ongert, excused; Hintz, yes; Kescenovitz, yes; Jung, yes; Weber, yes; McArthur, yes; Zeratsky, yes; and Treichel, yes. Motion CARRIED. ACCEPTANCE OF 2024-25 DISTRICT SINGLE AUDIT REPORT MOTION Kescenovitz, second Traylor, that the Moraine Park Technical College District Board accept the 2024-25 Single Audit Report as previously presented by representatives of CLA, and that copies of the final report be submitted to the Wisconsin Technical College System Board. Vote: Ayes: 8; Opposed: 0. Motion CARRIED. APPROVAL OF PROGRAM SUSPENSION: HEALTH AND WELLNESS ASSOCIATE DEGREE (10-546-3) MOTION Zeratsky, second Hintz, that the Moraine Park Technical College District Board approve the suspension of the Health and Wellness Associate Degree Program (10-546-3), Health and Wellness Technician (31-546-1), and Chiropractic Technician (97-546-2) effective at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year. Roll call vote: Traylor, yes; Ongert, excused; Hintz, yes; Kescenovitz, yes; Jung, yes; Weber, yes; McArthur, yes; Zeratsky, yes; and Treichel, yes. Motion CARRIED. APPROVAL OF PROGRAM SUSPENSION: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - APPLICATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST ASSOCIATE DEGREE (10-152-11) MOTION McArthur, second Kescenovitz, that the Moraine Park Technical College District Board approve the suspension of the Information Technology - Applications Support Specialist degree program (10-152-11) effective at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year. APPROVAL OF PROGRAM SUSPENSION: LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE DEGREE (10-196-1) MOTION Zeratsky, second McArthur, that the Moraine Park Technical College District Board approve the suspension of the Leadership and Organizational Development Associate Degree Program (10-196-1), Training and Development Assistant (61-196-7), and Quality Supervision (97-623-3) effective at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year. Roll call vote: Traylor, yes; Ongert, excused; Hintz, yes; Kescenovitz, yes; Jung, yes; Weber, yes; McArthur, yes; Zeratsky, yes; and Treichel, yes. Motion CARRIED. APPROVAL OF PROGRAM SUSPENSION: SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS COUNSELING (SUDC) ASSOCIATE DEGREE (10-550-1) MOTION Weber, second Hintz, that the Moraine Park Technical College District Board approve the suspension of the Substance Use Disorders Counseling (SUDC) Associate Degree Program (10-550-1) and the Substance Use Disorders Counseling Certificate (97-550-1) effective at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year.
