NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF GOLF CART ORDINANCE CITY OF WILLIAMSTON PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at a meeting held on Monday, October 13, 2025, the Williamston City Council adopted an amendment to Chapter 66, TRAFFIC AND VEHICLES, of the City of Williamston Code of Ordinances, to add a new Article V, entitled Golf Carts, to allow golf carts to be operated on roads within the City, to provide for registration of golf carts, to require equipment for golf carts, and to regulate the operation and use of golf carts on roads within the City. The Golf Cart Ordinance shall become effective 15 days after publication of this Notice. A copy of the Golf Cart Ordinance is available for public inspection in the office of the City Clerk.
