NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on November 13, 2025, the Ontario County Board of Supervisors adopted Local Law No. 9 (Intro.) of 2025, which provides: For the application of the Management Compensation Program, as amended September 11, 2025 by Resolutions 506-2025, 507-2025, and 508-2025, providing step increases to those eligible county officers, for the year 2026. The effective date of this local law is January 1, 2026. This Local Law is adopted subject to a permissive referendum of the qualified electors of the County of Ontario in accordance with the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York. Such referendum may be commenced by the filing of a petition. A copy of the actual text of this local law is available for inspection at the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors during regular office hours or on line at https://www.ontariocountyny.gov/1106/Local-Laws.
