NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the County of Chemung has adopted Local Law No. 1 for the Year 2026 entitled "Local Law entitled "A Local Law authorizing increase in salary of elected officials and certain officials appointed for a fixed term in the County of Chemung". Said Local Law was deemed adopted by the New York State Department of State as of February 18, 2026. This notice is given pursuant to a Local Law adopted by the Chemung County Legislature in 1983 and deemed adopted by the New York State Department of State on January 6, 1984, which required a synopsis of the Local Law along with a notice that the full text of said Local Law may be examined at the Office of the Clerk of the Legislature during regular business hours.
