NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION
FAIRVIEW FIRE DISTRICT IN THE TOWN OF GREENBURGH,
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the qualified voters of the Fairview Fire District in the Town of Greenburgh, Westchester County, New York, will be held in each election district of said Fire District at the places hereinafter set forth on the 9th day of December 2025 between the hours of five o'clock P.M. and nine o'clock P.M. prevailing time, for the purpose of electing one (1) Fire Commissioner for a five (5) year term, commencing on January 1, 2026 and ending on December 31, 2030.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the election districts within the Fire District and the place for each such election district where such annual election will be held are as follows:
Residents in Election Districts 41, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 63, 64, 67, and 78

NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the Board of Elections of the Fairview Fire District shall meet at Fire Headquarters, 19 Rosemont Boulevard, in Greenburgh, New York, in said Fire District, on the 24th day of November 2025 at six o'clock P.M. to commence preparation of the rolls of registered voters for the annual election of the Fairview Fire District. Please note that only those persons who have registered with the Westchester County Board of Elections on or before the 23rd day before the Fire District election day, the 17th day of November 2025, and who have resided within the Fire District for a period of not less than thirty days (30) prior to the election shall be eligible to vote.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that every fire commissioner must be at least 18 years of age and not convicted of a felony and have resided in the Fairview Fire District for a period of thirty (30) days next preceding the election and remain a resident of the Fire District throughout the term of office.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that, under the provisions of Section 176, subdivision 7 of the Town Law, the Board of Fire Commissioners duly adopted a resolution on the 10th day of October, 1996 that requires all candidates for the office of Fire Commissioner in the Fairview Fire District to file their names with the Secretary of the Fire District, Sarah Senior, at 19 Rosemont Boulevard, Greenburgh, New York, at least twenty (20) days prior to the date of such Fire District election and that such nominations shall be submitted in petition form subscribed to by twenty-five (25) qualified electors of the Fairview Fire District. In 2025, all petitions must be filed with the Fire District Secretary on or before 4 o'clock P.M. on November 19th.
