Notice of Application for Authorization to Sell Immovable Property at Private Sale

Notice is given that Stella Collins and Ethel Wright, Co-Administratrixes of the Succession of Karry James Wright, have, pursuant to the provisions of the Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure Article 3281, petitioned this Honorable Court for Authority to sell at private sale, for the price of TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($225,000.00), the following described property:
THAT CERTAIN PARCEL OF GROUND, together with all improvements thereon, situated in Section 79, Township 8 South, Range 4 East, Parish of Lafayette, Louisiana, containing TWO (2) ARPENTS, and being a PORTION OF LOT 4 of property formerly belonging to Mrs. Elsie Martin Arceneaux and shown on a plat prepared by Fred L. Colomb, dated July 14, 1954, said parcel herein sold measuring one hundred sixty-five and six-tenths (165.6') feet in a Northerly-Southerly direction by a depth on its Easterly line of four hundred forty-eight and six-tenths (448.6) feet and a depth on its Westerly line of four hundred forty-seven (447') feet, and is bounded Northerly by other property of Percy Marks and Estelle Jefferey Marks not herein sold; Southerly and Easterly by property of Wallace Marks; and Westerly by portion of a gravel road and/or property of Felix Guilbeau, or assigns; all as is more fully shown on a plat of survey prepared by Fred L. Colomb, Registered Surveyor, dated October 27, 1976, attached to an act of credit sale by Percy Marks and Estelle Jefferey Marks to Johnny Francis Morrison and Adele Barthelemy Morrision, registered in COB 166, folio 264, made a part thereof and paraphed "Ne Varietur" for identification herewith; being a portion of the same property acquired by Percy Marks and Estelle Jefferey by Act Number 306885 of the Conveyance Records of Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.
Being the same property acquired by Johnny Francis Morrison, Sr. and Adele Barthelemy Morrison from Percy Marks and Estelle Jefferey Marks, by act passed before Margaret Ozenne LeBlanc, Notary Public, dated November 12, 1976, registered in COB 166, folio 264 of the records of the Parish of Lafayette, State of Louisiana.
Now therefore, in accordance with law, notice is hereby given Stella Collins and Ethel Wright, duly appointed and qualified Co-Administratrixes, propose to sell the aforesaid immovable property, at private sale, for the price and upon the terms aforesaid, and the heirs, legatees and creditors are required to make opposition, if any they have or can, to such sale, within seven (7) days, including Sundays and holidays, from date whereon the last publication of this notice appears.
