Notice of Application to Franklin Borough Planning Board
Please take notice that an application has been made to the Planning Board/Zoning Board of Adjustment of Franklin Borough, New Jersey, by the Undersigned, to modify a resolution adopted on December 15, 2025 approving Application PB-09-25-01 by the Undersigned, to redevelop a three (3) story structure at the property located at 104 Main Street, also known as Block 1004, Lot 2 on the Franklin Borough Tax Map, to operate a Laundromat on the 1st floor, construct a 1st floor apartment (in addition to the already existing 4 units), place a 2nd sign on the building and construct an outdoor staircase.
Previous approval required the applicant to enter into an official written agreement with the Borough Council regarding tenant and patron parking in the adjacent municipal parking lot. Applicant sought an official written agreement for tenant and patron parking in the adjacent municipal parking lot, but has been unable to obtain this. This application seeks to remove this requirement from the Resolution of December 15, 2025.
If any additional variances or waivers beyond those specified herein are needed for the approval of the Applicant's plans for development, as determined by the Board, the Applicant will apply for any and all such variances and waivers, and will present proofs in support of same, at the time of the public hearing.
A public hearing on this application will be held on June 22, 2026 at 7:00 PM, at the Franklin Borough Municipal Building, 46 Main Street, Franklin NJ. All persons interested in the Application may appear and be heard at the same time and place.
All plans and other documents pertaining to this application are on file and available for public inspection during the business hours of 9:00AM and 4:00PM, at least 10 days before the hearing, at the Planning and Land Use Office of the Municipal Building, located at 46 Main Street, Franklin NJ.
