NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF TENTATIVE BUDGET AND PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given by the Board of Trustees of Illinois Community College District No. 518, also known as Carl Sandburg College, located in portions of Knox, Henderson, Mercer, Stark, Fulton, Henry, Hancock, McDonough, and Schuyler counties and all of Warren County, State of Illinois that a tentative budget for said Community College District for the school year beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027, will be on file and conveniently available for public inspection during regular business hours from and after 8:30 a.m. on the 24th of April 2026, at the Illinois Community College District No. 518 Finance Office located on the campus at 2400 Tom L. Wilson Blvd., Galesburg, Illinois, and online at https://www.sandburg.edu/about/campus-resources/budgets-financial-info.html Notice is further given that a public hearing on said budget will be held at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th day of May 2026, in the Conference Room E200 at the College located at 2400 Tom L. Wilson Blvd., Galesburg, Illinois. Final action on the tentative budget will be taken by the Board of Trustees after the conclusion of the public hearing, at the duly convened public meeting on the 28th day of May 2026.
