NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND CANCELLATION OF MARCH 23, 2026, PUBLIC HEARING BY THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF AGING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the California Department of Aging has cancelled the Public Hearing scheduled for March 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. regarding the designation of a new Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for Planning and Service Area 18 (PSA) in Ventura County. The Department has also cancelled Request for Proposals (RFP # VEN-2627-18), issued February 10, 2026, to solicit a public agency or private nonprofit organization to serve as the Area Agency on Aging for PSA 18. The Ventura County Area Agency on Aging has notified the California Department of Aging that they will continue to serve as the AAA for the PSA. Questions may be directed to PSA18@aging.ca.gov.
