NOTICE OF DECISION
Please take notice that the City of Camden Planning Board ("Board") has granted an application for development filed by Autozone Northeast, LLC ("Applicant") regarding real property with a street address 1426 Mt. Ephraim Avenue, designated as Block 1325, Lots 44, 47, 49, 50, 59 and 60 on the current municipal tax map. The Board granted variance approval for the installation of two illuminated channel letter wall signs, each being 24 square feet, and one double-sided pylon sign being 49.5 square feet on each side, each sign being internally illuminated with LED lighting.
The Board approved the following variances under the municipal land use ordinance:
1. Section 870-253(N)(6) states the maximum square footage for signage in the R-2 zone is 12 square feet. The Board approved two wall signs, each 24 square feet and one double-sided pylon sign, each side being 49.5 square feet; and
2. Section 870-253(N)(6) states the maximum number of signs per lot is 1. The Board approved 4 signs.
The Board granted this application on December 11, 2025 and its decision was memorialized in a written resolution that the Board adopted on January 8, 2026. A copy of the memorializing resolution is filed in the office of the municipal administrative officer. A copy is available to any interested party for a reasonable fee and is available for public inspection during municipal business hours.
